Administrative Policies

Cancellation Policy

  • Refunds will be available for participants who cancel at least one (1) business day prior to the referenced course.
  • The credit card fees (approximately 5%) will be deducted as those monies will not be refunded to AIEME from the credit card company.
  • Should a participant not cancel in the aforementioned manner, no refunds will be offered unless exigent circumstances exist.
  • Please notify the AIEME office to discuss any concerns as we are totally sympathetic to circumstances beyond the control of the participant.

Transfer Policy

  • Transfers are permitted for a maximum of three occurrences.
  • A credit is in place for three months each transfer.
  • Please contact the AIEME office should exigent circumstances exist.

Financial Policy

  • Our company name is often abbreviated as ‘Assoc in Emerg Med Educ, Lutz, Florida’. Unfortunately, a participant may not recognize this and request a ‘chargeback’ from their credit card company.
  • For an AIEME staff member to research the initiator of the ‘chargeback’ is very labor intensive and costly to the company.
  • Rather than answer the exhaustive questions asked by the credit card company, a staff member will allow the credit to go through but will then contact the ‘chargeback’ initiator for a replacement tuition.
  • When obtaining the credit card number, a $15 service fee will be added to the overall total.
  • Failure to respond to 3 communications from our office staff will automatically result in the course cards (e.g. ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP et al) being voided in the AHA / AAP system so the cards will no longer be in effect for that individual.

Marketing Policy

  • By registering with AIEME, direct consent is given to the staff to notify participants of upcoming events, renewal status, et al.
  • At no time will AIEME provide personal information to 3rd party marketers.
  • Personal information such as attendance and pass/fail status will only be given to employers who are paying for the participants or in the event of a legal action requirement.
